The FR3 for Burning Man 2026
Is the FR3 still available for 2026?
Only one coach remains for Burning Man 2026 — the FR3. When it's reserved, the season is sold.
What does the $22,500 include?
$22,500 is the all-in price for the week — August 30 to September 7, eight nights. It covers the coach, full pre-burn prep and sealing, the dust remediation after exodus, Starlink, made beds, a fully equipped kitchen, and unlimited generator hours. One number, no surprises. Stated separately and plainly: the fuel you use, a $1,500 refundable security deposit held at handoff, and any provisioning you ask us to handle.
How do I reserve it?
Tell us your dates, your crew, and your camp. Nothing is charged until we confirm — we confirm availability and fit, usually within 24 hours, and payment secures the coach. We say confirm rather than approve on purpose: once we confirm, the coach is yours.
I'm booking on behalf of someone else — can you work with me?
Often. We work with executive assistants, concierges, and camp leads regularly. Put your own name and contact on the reservation and note the traveler — you stay the point of contact, and we keep you in the loop through handoff. Corporate invoicing is available and we'll provide a W-9 on request.
Provisioning & delivery
Can you stock the coach before we arrive?
Yes. We stock the coach before you arrive — groceries, water, ice, coffee the way your camp drinks it. Send us the list; we send the receipts. Provisioning is billed at cost plus a $500 concierge fee, receipts included, so you see exactly what went into the coach.
Do you deliver to my camp?
By arrangement, for a small number of camps. Reno-side staging — meeting you at a hotel or the airport — starts at $3,000. In-city delivery to your placement is the Delivered & Staged package at $27,500 all-in: the coach is level, cool, and made when you walk up. Delivery is quoted to your placement and dates, never a flat rate. See playa delivery for details.
Driving the coach
Who can drive it, and what license do I need?
Any driver 25 or older with a standard, valid driver's license — no commercial or special license needed. The FR3 is 31'11", which drives like a large truck once you're used to the size, and we walk you through it before you leave Reno.
How many people does it really sleep?
It sleeps eight — a 72" × 80" residential king behind a closing bedroom door, a power drop-down bunk, a hide-a-bed sofa, and a wrap-around dinette. It's perfect for four to six. Eight is workable for a close crew; four to six is where it feels like home base.
Will the water and power last the week?
Power, yes — the 5.5KW Yamaha inverter generator and rooftop solar run the A/Cs and Starlink all week. Water is the honest constraint: 52 gallons means real showers with discipline, not unlimited ones, and how far it stretches depends on your crew. At handoff we build the water plan around the people actually aboard, and for bigger crews, on-playa water delivery and tank pump-outs can be booked through the event's approved provider.
On the playa
What about the dust?
Dust is expected — it's the playa. After exodus, the coach gets a full interior and mechanical dust remediation. That work is our job and it's inside the price: you will never see a dust bill. What falls outside it is damage beyond ordinary dust — food waste, standing liquids, non-dust debris — handled through the security deposit.
What do we still need to bring ourselves?
Your Burning Man tickets and a vehicle pass for the coach — every vehicle entering Black Rock City needs its own pass, and that's on you, not part of the reservation. Plus the fuel you use and your own shade: a Class A gets hot fast without an awning or shade structure, same as any rig on playa.
What kind of support do we get during the week?
Preparation, not promises. The coach goes out fully serviced and burn-prepped, we walk you through every system in Reno before you drive, Starlink means you can reach us from the coach, and you have our direct line before the gate and after exodus. We don't staff a round-the-clock hotline and won't pretend to — what we do is send you out prepared.
Payment & cancellation
What's your cancellation policy?
Inside 45 days of your trip, the full amount is due on confirmation and the reservation is non-refundable — with one honest valve: if we re-book your dates, we refund what you paid less $2,500. Outside 45 days, a 50% deposit holds the dates with the balance due 30 days out, refundable on the tiers laid out in the terms. If we can't deliver the coach, you're refunded in full. It's all in the rental terms, and we confirm it with you before any charge. See rental terms for details.
